Janjay Innis is a cradle United Methodist and enjoying ecumenism by living out her vocation as the Director of Faith Formation at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Atlanta. Her work, which invites God’s people to live out their faith through service is her why. In connecting the Atlanta community to initiatives that dismantle injustice at its root, coordinating opportunities for young adults to envision their future careers through the lens of social change and facilitating opportunities for the building of authentic relationships, Janjay finds great joy.

Angel Rivero is the pastor of a small United Methodist church on the California coast. When he’s not busy with church stuff, you can find him hanging out with his two cats, Simon and Garfunkel, or treasure hunting with his partner at yard sales and thrift shops. His “why” can be summed up by Mister Rogers, “The greatest thing we can do is help somebody know that they’re loved and capable of loving.”
Alejandra is currently pursuing an MDiv at Harvard. Her background is in public health, and she is interested to see how religious spaces can partner with public health organizations to improve the mental and physical health of communities! When she’s not working or studying, Alejandra is usually glued to a new book she’s reading, on her yoga mat, or out running and exploring the spaces around her. She loves listening to Taylor Swift and has been binging on Brene Brown’s Unlocking Us podcast.
I am a country-living, city-slicker who lives rural mid-Missouri. I’ve been one of the “good” lobbyists in politics for seven years, currently advocating on issues like child care, health care for children and foster care for Kids Win Missouri. I’m an Enneagram #7, baseball card collector, Bruce Springsteen super-fan, nerdy husband, dad and provisional deacon in the United Methodist Church.
